Ghostwriting

If you’re like most people who find their way to this page, there’s a book you want  to write.

It might be a family history, a novel, a memoir, a self-help book, or a true account of a little-known historical event. It might be a book about health & fitness, education, animals, or spiritual growth.

Or maybe you want to write a book that will showcase your professional expertise, attract clients, and help establish your credentials as an expert in your field.

Whatever your idea, you’re passionate about it, but you don’t know how to get it on the page. Maybe your life is too busy for you to sit down and write it, or maybe, like so many bright, busy people, you have the ideas but not the words. The question you came here to ask is, can I help you take that story from your head and make a real book out of it?

The answer is, “It depends.”

It depends on a lot of things. Your topic, our compatibility, our schedules, the scope of your project, your budget and my rates. If you had the best idea in the history of the world, and I were the best writer in the history of the world, we still might not be a good fit. So if you think you’d like to work with me, the first step is for us to talk. About your idea. About my process. About all those factors that will help us decide together whether this partnership is best for both of us. If it is, great! If not, I may be able to point you toward someone who will be a better match.

“But wait,” you may be saying. “Who are you to think you can help me write my book?”

Well . . . I’m a professional author with four published novels, a workbook for writers, and stories and essays in several anthologies. You can check them out here. I’ve been teaching, editing for, and consulting with writers for more than twenty years, first on an informal basis, then part-time, then full-time for the past three years. I’ve edited for or collaborated with more than thirty authors, published and unpublished, beginning and experienced, several on multiple books.

Here are some of the books, I’ve written, edited, or consulted on.

I’m located in Music City, USA, also known as Nashville, Tennessee. Here I am with some of my other Nashville writer friends.

Of course, you don’t have to be based in Nashville for us to work together, but if you do, it means we can meet in person more often. But no worries if you’re far away. Modern technology makes working together easy, no matter how many miles there are between us.

Want to see if I’m the one to help you write your book? Send me an email at jaden@jadenterrell.com and we’ll set up a time to chat. Or, if you’d like to investigate a little more first, check out my FAQ page.
